breathing.systems – Bristol

Saturday 25 April, 11:30, 12:40, 13:50, 15:00

breathing.systems is an immersive performance in which a custom-built wireless speaker system is worn by the performers, turning each body into a moving source of sound. The piece creates a communal, fluid, sound body, dispersing the artist’s voice across a network of collaborators – each node in a temporal community.

They’ve Got Your Eyes – Liverpool

They’ve Got Your Eyes is a major new commission by Scottish artist Rachel Maclean, featuring the world premiere of a film created using AI models trained on her own image and artistic archive. Co-commissioned by Sonica Festival

Folding Songs – Perth

Martin Green, acclaimed accordionist and fearless sonic innovator of the band Lau, joins forces with vocalist Svetlana Spajić, one of Serbia’s most revered traditional musicians and a guardian of ancient Balkan song, and guitarist Graeme Stephen to present Folding Songs.
