Responsive Simulations
I will create responsive environments where large-scale projections of 3d simulations unfold and metamorphose in real time in response to the audience’s presence and behaviour, using a 3D depth-sensing camera and Touchdesigner.

Aims of the project
I will explore using Touchdesigner with a depth-sensing camera for volumetric and motion capture of the viewer, working with a technologist and taking online courses. I will craft responsive to the viewer’s body and behavior digital 3d physics simulations such as particle systems, light and fluid simulations in Touchdesigner.
What are the ways of linking the dynamics of a digital physics simulation directly with the viewer’s movement so that the viewer identifies with the powerful energy and beauty of the simulation? Is it possible to generate certain feelings and psychological states through digital art being generated in real time in response to the audience?
