Peter and the Wolf AR (PAW)
Peter and the Wolf AR (PAW) transforms a beloved classic into an immersive encounter where dance, animation, visual art and music collide and the audience becomes part of the adventure.
Peter and the Wolf AR reimagines Prokofiev's beloved classic music as a Augmented Reality experience for all ages. The project brings together visual artist, composers, and creative technologists in a deeply collaborative process extending AΦE's ten-year practice of integrating immersive technology into live performance.

Aims of the project
At the heart of the project is a commitment to accessibility and shared experience.
Alongside the creation, we will conduct community engagement activities at their art and technology hub, A+E Lab, invite participants into the creative process, exploring how storytelling, technology, and art can come together.
This piece is designed to reach new and diverse audiences, connecting the timeless themes of the story, courage, care, and responsibility, with the possibilities of contemporary immersive technology.
Meet AΦE
AΦE
Dance Company
AΦE is a dance company founded in 2016 by Co-Artistic Directors Esteban Lecoq and Aoi Nakamura, and creates installations and performances between dance and immersive realities. Their interactive works place the audience at the centre of the creative and narrative process, offering a new space for exploration between bodies, spaces and technologies.
AΦE is an associate artist of the Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries/University of Kent (iCCi) and in 2022 they launched A+E Lab, a cultural and technology hub located at Historic Dockyard Chatham (UK) producing innovative productions and delivering community engagement programmes. Their work engaged over 101,000 live audiences and participants internationally.
