Who am I? Pwy i fi?
‘WHO AM I?/PWY I FI?' is a bilingual, autobiographical, immersive, audio-drama exploring survival, resilience, and the complexities of identity through the lens of our hospitalisations as disabled artists.
Due to our disability, we have endured forced immobility, in bed, listening to a hospital soundscape. Broken by incessant noise, we lost our identity not because of illness but because of the sound environment around us.

It's absolutely brilliant to be a recipient of an Immersive Arts award! It's very special to be able to be able to showcase my work as a proud Welsh DDN (Deaf, Disabled or Neurodiverse) creative.
In an environment where the arts are being devalued, and with devastating cuts to DDN support - having a programme such as the Immersive Arts fund is vitally important. Diolch am y rhyddid i greu. Ymlaen!

Rhys Miles Thomas

Over the past 20 years of my creative journey, I have consistently sought to expand the horizons of what is possible through innovative, multi-platform, technology-led work.
Collaborating with fellow creatives and engaging with underrepresented communities, my objective has always been to produce thought-provoking art that not only entertains but is also accessible to all. Recently, because of my disability I have explored making work that looks at accessibility and how it can be used as a driver for change.
Glass Shot is a bilingual creative company that makes the inaccessible accessible.
It aims to give more opportunities, at the highest level, for Deaf, Disabled or Neurodivergent, and socially excluded people into the creative industries.
As individuals, they have over 25 years’ experience in theatre, dance, film, TV, digital, literature and immersive – working as Producers, Directors, Choreographers, Writers, Educators and Story Architects…
Work includes the Virtual Production and Motion Capture films “We Dream of Nothing” and “Flying Without Wings” / the Multimedia community piece “Goldfish Bowl’ / and “Faultline” an immersive theatre experience about the Gresford Mining Disaster.
John Rea

Since graduating in music from Cardiff University and an early career as a session musician & arranger for Dave Stewart’s Anxious Records in London, John has enjoyed a long career as a composer for concert platform, theatre and film, whilst also working in community-based sound art, and interdisciplinary installation projects.
In 2018 and 2019 he created a large-scale performance and installation project in collaboration with St Fagans and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, combining live musicians with archive material, and sonic interventions in the historic buildings,
John is working on an installation project investigating the Welsh-Italian diaspora in South Wales and developing a multi-disciplinary work in collaboration with the percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie.
