An immersive storytelling experiment that explores choosing our fate beyond ‘The Algorithm’, to reclaim the anarchist promises of the early internet.
Accept the Cookies is an electrifying and fully-interactive art exhibition about our rights and freedoms in the digital future. In the age of surveillance capitalism, we ask: how much of your mind are you willing to give away to algorithms and big tech?
Our work tells a cyberpunk-inspired, immersive sci-fi story, sprinkled with glitch, digital fairytale, and online tropes like blue ‘verified’ badges and persistent cookie requests. The audience are the main character in their own odyssey in data ethics.

Aims of the Project
Our aims are to collectivise a diverse community of artists exploring aspects of data surveillance and internet culture through digital art. Through experimentation, we will create immersive artworks that respond to the themes we are exploring.

Symoné is a Guinness World Record Holder circus/cabaret artist and interdisciplinary maker between live art- theatre-drag king and alternative game designer.
Livi is an AR artist focusing on Internet Anthropology, and is the inhouse Creative Technologist for Electric Medway.
Jim is a multidisciplinary sound artist, DJ and conceptual storyteller, specialising in science fiction and fantasy in performance, undertaking a PhD at Goldsmiths University in speculative fiction in audio-based art.
